The Governed Workflow, on Claude
Claude is the tool we use ourselves, and for long documents, structured output, and following a written process precisely it is the strongest of the three. This is the flagship course run on Claude: Projects hold the card as the standing instruction, Cowork works on files where they live, and each person leaves with a process that runs again.

Why this tool
If your team already has Claude Team or Enterprise, or individual Pro accounts your policy allows, this is the shortest route to a governed process that a second person can run from the card.
In the room
The same course, on the tool you have.
- The shared example, an AP sub-ledger to GL reconciliation, run in a Claude Project: the tie stays in a query, Claude reads the trial balance PDF, classifies the differences, and drafts the approval email.
- Each person's own process in their own Project, on the seven-line card.
- Cowork for the processes that live in folders rather than in a chat.
- The control layer: account settings, what never goes in, the named approval, and the record of each run.
Teams that want to go further take Build a Governed Agent and, for finance-systems people, Claude Code for Finance Systems. Both run on Claude Code.

Courses teach on practice files that look like a finance team's real work, so nothing confidential has to leave the building to learn the method. Each person then applies it to one file of their own, under their own organization's policy; the setup guide we send ahead of the course says what that requires, and a sanitized copy is fine. The pattern itself is the protection: the export is a read-only copy, a named person is the approval gate, and nothing posts to the books without that approval. For the grant, your organization deals with the Alberta portal directly; we never hold trainee personal information.
