Since 2006 Neil has built and run the planning, consolidation, and close systems that Alberta head offices depend on: energy producers, Crown corporations, universities, municipalities. Budget cycles, month-end, board packs, the reconciliations underneath them, and the automation that keeps them moving. He has trained every finance team he handed a platform to, because a system nobody can use is not finished.
In 2024 he started using Claude inside that work, then Claude Code for the scripts, rules, and loads that finance-systems teams live in. Two things became clear. One person could get far more of a close done than before. And every finance director asked the same first question: what happens to our numbers. The courses answer both, with a pattern rather than a product: input, transformation, output, human check. The tool prepares, a person approves, nothing touches the ledger without one.
Courses run in your office because that is where the work is, and online for teams anywhere in Canada. Calgary has more head-office finance functions within a fifteen-minute drive than anywhere else in the country, and most of them have never had an AI trainer in the room who could read their variance report.
1113 Technologies Inc. is the training and advisory business. The training is the shortest route into the larger idea, that the firm has to be rebuilt alongside itself rather than transformed from the inside, which is set out on the approach page. EPM ONE Consulting Ltd., founded in 2016, continues as the senior Oracle EPM Cloud practice and is the delivering provider when an Alberta employer uses the provincial training grant.
